This was my third time at Sweet Ila Mae's Barn Sale and as with the last two times, I am exhilarated and exhausted! Just when I was beginning to doubt my endeavor with Aconcoction, I recieved the words of encouragement that I needed to keep moving forward. There were a couple of ladies from Lebanon who stopped by my booth - one ran Watermelon Moon Bed & Breakfast and both had worked in merchandising. They made me feel so good about my products, display and packaging. They said I had some of the best they had seen and to feel confident in what I was doing. It was just what I needed to hear! I keep telling myself to "be who you are and don't worry about the rest" but that is easier said than done.
One another note I would like send love and appreciation out to Bernadette Doud who helped me with set-up, Patty Boyd who helped me mind the store on Friday night while I worked at my "day job" and Lydia who came and helped Saturday. She added that young bohemian vibe to the booth that this 40+ year old mom can't pull off.
Finally- did I say how much I LOVE my customers! They are the best and I cherish getting to know all of you!
